In episode 3 of the Burnout to Abundance series, I enjoyed a candid conversation with one of Australia’s leading branding strategist, the amazing Debbie O’Connor.

Debbie vulnerably shares with us her journey of recognising and identifying burnout in her own life in 2019. Most importantly, Debbie shares about how she was able to mobilise her wonderful team at work to help support her through her burnout recovery process, without needing to stop working completely or close down any of her businesses.

I especially love how well Debbie describes what she experienced physically and emotionally at different stages of her burnout journey. We were able to discuss the WHO’s definition of burnout as a syndrome, as well as highlight the key symptoms characteristic of burnout.

Our hope is that this episode will help you feel safe to share vulnerably about burnout with your loved ones and in your workplace. And you can start implementing some of the simple and practical strategies in your life and with your team.
